Our Story
Turning Point Evaluation, INC is a dynamic 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization with a 509 (a) (2) public charity status that serves the Mental Health and Substance Abuse needs of Madison County, Iowa and the surrounding communities.
Turning Point Evaluation, INC provides Mental Health Therapy, Substance Abuse Counseling, and Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS).
Turning Point Evaluation, INC believes that within each individual lies an infinite amount of potential. We nurture and encourage that belief by providing each individual the opportunity of growth and positive exposure, as well as tapping into the passions and talents of our community.
After a county assessment and the State of Iowa declaring Madison County as a county in need of assistance, members of the community reached out and requested a facility in which they would offer individual and family services in specific targeted areas. As a result, Turning Point Evaluation, INC was established in December 2014.

Together we can develop the tools you need to find resolution, build stronger relationships, develop better communication and enrich your life.
Turning Point’s facility is located at 113 N John Wayne Drive in Winterset, Iowa. Call our office at 515.462.5967 and talk with our friendly staff about setting up an appointment. Our administrative office hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Our clinicians maintain their own schedules. We will try to accommodate with your schedule in order to best service your needs.
